Prepare
Fabric: denim, gingham, chambray, cotton types ......  about 1.5-2 meter 
Marker
Coordinating thread
Universal ball point sewing needle
Pins
Sewing machine

Download and print the pattern, piece together then trace the pattern pieces and cut out. Re-measure the neck, chest, waist, hips and the length of the sewing pattern before cutting on your fabric.

Sewing guidelines: use 1.2cm seam allowance. seam allowances are included in the pattern pieces
Press all seams. Finish all exposed seams by serging, sewing with a zig zag stitch or trimming with pinking shears to prevent fraying.



Prewash and dry your fabric
Step1: With right sides together (RST) align the dart leg markings and sew together. Start at the base of the dart and sew to the tip. Your last stitch should go right off the edge of the fabric. Instead of backstitching tie your thread tails in a double knot. Press the darts downward.
Step2: Cut the middle of the front like Y letter with length about 16-20cm.
Fold the pieces in half lengthways, aligning the long raw edges, wrong sides together, and pin. Sew the long edges together using a 6mm seam allowance, then turn out through one of the open ends, press and unseam 
Place one side of Y letter in the middle of the piece . Pin and topstitch
Step3: Place front and back bodice right sides together, pin and sew shoulder seams. Press seam open.
Step4: With RST sew the sleeves into the arm openings. Sew and clip seams. Repeat for other sleeve
Step5: Sew a line of gathering stitches along the lower edge of the hem. Pull gently enough for edge to slightly shrink. Then pin and sew 1/2"
Step6: With RST sew up the sleeve inseam and shirt side seam. Repeat for other side
Step7: Fold the cuff pieces in half lengthways wrong side out, aligning the long raw edges, right sides together, pin and sew
 Sew a line of gathering stitches along the lower edge of the sleeve band. Gently pull the upper edge bobbin thread until it is the same width as the sleeve cuff. Pin sleeve band and cuff together then sew
Step8: Using bias tape to close the edge of the neck line
Step9:  Fold the strap pieces in half lengthways, aligning the long raw edges, right sides together, and pin. Sew the long edges together using a 6mm seam allowance, then turn out through one of the open ends and press.
We are done!
