Download and print the pattern, piece together then trace the pattern pieces and cut out. Re-measure the neck, chest, waist, hips and the length of the sewing pattern before cutting on your fabric.

Sewing guidelines: use 1.2cm seam allowance. seam allowances are included in the pattern pieces
Press all seams. Finish all exposed seams by serging, sewing with a zig zag stitch or trimming with pinking shears to prevent fraying.

Prewash and dry your fabric

Step1: With right sides together (RST) align the dart leg markings and sew together. Your last stitch should go right off the edge of the fabric. Instead of backstitching tie your thread tails in a double knot. Press
Step2: Sew zipper to back bodice
Step3: Line up the facing, matching up the dress neckline, right sides together. Pin around. Sew using a serger, small zigzag stitch, or stretch stitch.

Step4:Place the front and back dress pattern pieces right sides together. Pin and sew shoulder seams, using a 1/2-inch seam allowance. Press seams open.
Step5:  Sew a line of gathering stitches along the curve edge of the top sleeve. Gently pull the upper edge bobbin thread until it is the same width as the armhole.
Step6: Flip the sleeve over so that it is now right sides together with the dress. Pin the curve of the sleeve to the armscye. Sew using a straight stitch, serger, or stretch stitch. Repeat for the other sleeve, and clip seam allowances.
Step7: With RST sew up the sleeve inseam and dress side seam.
*Tip: Now is a great time to try the dress on and adjust if you prefer a slimmer fit. It's also a good time to check the length.

Step8: Fold the sleeve 1/2 inch towards the wrong side and press. Pin around and sew, using a double needle, zigzag stitch, or stretch stitch. Repeat for both sleeves and dress bottom
