DIY shoulder culotte jumpsuit | FREE pattern ep 16 | Zoe diy

DIY  shoulder culotte jumpsuit

Materials you will need:
    Fabric:  denim, cotton types, gingham... about 1.5-2 m  
Marker
Coordinating thread
Universal ball point sewing needle
Pins
Sewing machine
Download and print the pattern, piece together then trace the pattern pieces and cut out. Re-measure the neck, chest, waist, hips and the length of the sewing pattern before cutting on your fabric.
Sewing guidelines: use 1.2cm seam allowance. seam allowances are included in the pattern pieces
Press all seams. Finish all exposed seams by serging, sewing with a zig zag stitch or trimming with pinking shears to prevent fraying.


Prewash and dry your fabric

Step1: Fold pocket hem 1/2″ towards the wrong side and press. Pin and sew around using a long straight stitch. Repeat for other pocket
Step2: Measure 10-12cm down from the top of the pants pattern along the side seam, and sew pocket pattern to pants . Repeat for all pants patterns and pockets, making sure to sew them in the exact same spot on all pattern pieces.

Step3: With right sides together front and back. Pin and sew out seam. Repeat for other side
Step4: With right sides together Jumpsuit with facing. Pin annd sew. Repeat for other side
Step5: With right sides together back crotch. Pin and se. Repeat for front crotch


Step 6: Pin and sew the inner leg seam, finish all seams and press.
Step 7: Fold jumpsuit hem 1/2" towards the wrong side and press. pin and sew a long straight stitch. Repeat for other leg
Step8: With right sides together strap. Pin and sew. Then turn straps right side out.
 Step9: Press strap on the top. Pin and sew. We are done!

We are done!
